Our Family Shark Fishing Excursion is exclusively reserved for your family. Unlike big “head boat” tours with dozens of lines in the water, our focus is on providing an intimate and personalized experience. We cater to your family only, with a maximum of 6 people on board and a maximum of 4 fishing rods in use at any given time. By keeping the lines free, we maximize your chances of hooking multiple sharks simultaneously without any tangles.
Encounter Sharks and Enjoy the Catch and Release Adventure
Our dedicated goal is to take you to the shark holes where you’ll encounter an abundance of 2 to 3-foot sharks. While we’re not out to catch monster sharks, we target sizes that provide an exciting fight and are manageable for the captain to bring on board briefly for some quick pictures before releasing them back into the water unharmed. Last year, one lucky tour group even caught over 30 sharks! On average, our summer tours yield 5 to 6 shark encounters, although that’s likely the low end of what you can expect.
Rest assured, this is a catch and release experience, ensuring the preservation of marine life. Our tour lasts for 3 hours, but for those seeking additional adventure, we offer a 4-hour option that allows for more shark encounters or even the chance to explore and spot dolphins with your family.
Flexible Scheduling and Preparations for an Unforgettable Adventure
Our tours can be scheduled throughout the day, but the best times for shark fishing are typically early mornings with a 8 AM departure or during the captivating sunset hours with a 6:00 PM departure. However, as we’ve learned from our experience, sharks are active feeders throughout the day, so the fun never stops!
