What can I say…wildlife is my thing. Nothing better than watching wild animals do what they do, in their natural habitat. Any chance to take my guests and get closer to nature, is a great trip.

My favorite tour is the first one in the morning. No matter if it’s shark fishing, dolphin hunting(with a camera) or searching for sharks’ teeth, the first trip of the day is the most beautiful. Did I mention its the best way to start your day?

My Name is Captain Roby, like Roby 1 Kinobi. I am a true native to the area and have been on the water since I was in a bassinet on the oyster banks. I got my boaters license at the age of 12. I am currently living on the water in my sailboat, and have wanted to work on the water since I can remember.

Dolphins, sharks, skiing , sailing, or just cruising and enjoying the amazing natural beauty of this area I call home; doesn’t matter to me so long as I’m on the water!

And remember….”Roby 1 Kinobi, your only hope!”

Favorite trips are sunset and any low tide fishing trips. All of the sunsets are different and unique, you never know what you are going to get. I really enjoy fishing the low tides around here. My favorite fish to catch are redfish.

The best time to be on the island is October to November. Crowds are minimal and it’s my favorite time of the year to go fishing. Best trip was a dolphin trip a few hours ago. It started to thunderstorm and most boats called it a day. My guests were leaving the next day with no time to reschedule so we put on the rain gear and to our amazement dolphins were everywhere breaching and playing with no other boats in site. Haven’t seen anything like it since.

With over 30 years of boating experience, I enjoy spotting dolphins and other wildlife. Even with Hilton Heads beautiful sunrises, the backwater sunsets remain my favorite. I love sharing these experiences with our guests. Let’s GO!
