Here is a list of often heard questions.

If you do not find your question answered here, text or call us and we will find one for you.

We can find dolphins around Hilton Head any time of day, although, we recommend going out first trip in the morning and last trip in the evening. Temperatures are mildest early and late in the day (especially in summer), winds are lighter(which helps with sightings and comfort) and everything is just waking up or getting ready for night (EATING!).

We recommend never looking at the weather until the time of your trip. Weather changes very quickly here. Storms blow over in a short period of time. Come prepared and ya’ll will have a blast.

If we cannot take you out at your scheduled time, we will either reschedule or fully refund. It’s totally up to you. We get most tours out, even if we have to adjust a few minutes here or there. Remember, we will make the decision at the time of the trip and not before.

For most of our trips we use 22ft Carolina Skiffs. These boats are designed for shallow water to get you close to the wildlife. We do have other boats that are used for specialty tours and/or larger parties.

We take a max of 6 people per tour on our specified Private and Shared Boats. This is Coast Guard regulation for small vessels. Other boat companies often take 12, 30 or even 50 people at a time. No crowds here.

If you have more than 6 guests, checkout our other options HERE. We offer discounts on 2 boats and have a rental option with a captain, which allows more guests.

NO PROBLEM! We have plenty of options including multiple boat tours (my favorite) or “hire a captain”. Give us a call and we can set you up. Or look HERE…

Private boats are is for your group only. Shared boats may have 2 or 3 groups, totaling up to 6 people per boat, never more.

Our guides(captains) have been on the water a long time. They know where to find the dolphin depending on tides and historical data.

Feel free to bring whatever you would like along, with the exception of glass bottles or red wine. We have a cooler onboard. If you would like to book a trip that includes everything you need to just walk on board like sunblock, bug spray, rain gear, drinks and snacks, take advantage of our VIP option listed at checkout.

YES! Bring what you like to have a great time. A cooler is supplied on board. Please, no glass or red wine.

Yes. We have 8ft bimini tops or t-tops on every boat. Shade does move though and we recommend hats and sunglasses. Fishing charters are an exception and will have shade, but may a little less.

Being prepared always makes for the best tour. Bring sunglasses, hat, sunblock (put on before boarding boat), raincoat and water. If colder season, expect it to feel 10 degrees colder on the water. Jackets and blankets are a good idea.

Bring and snacks and drinks you like, with the exception of red wine, glass bottles and grape juice.

Unless you are getting out for a beach comber, we do our best to keep the boat interior dry. Although, wind and waves can be expected so there may be splashing water. Don’t bring that laptop!

The address is 18 Simmons Road, Hilton Head, SC 29926. Once you turn on Simmons, take the first right, park and walk to the end of the wooden pier. We will meet you there at time of tour.

We love what we do and do this for a living. After living here for so long, our guides can take you to spots that they love and know well. Being with knowledgable guides makes a difference.

We recommend 15min before your tour so you may go to bathroom, put on sunblock and get to the end of the wooden pier 5min before your tour starts.

Well, this has only happened a handful of times in over 16 years of business but if it does, we will take your party back out at another time, on us!

Yes. All of our boat operators are USCG captains. ready to show you the best time!

Yes. Call or text us and we will book your trip for you, with the discount.

There is no particular time that is best for dolphin viewing BUT…we always recommend the earliest trip of the day and the soonest day ya’ll can come. The early trips the winds are lower, animals are moving and it’s BEAUTIFUL! The soonest day in your trip so that we may reschedule if weather is an issue.

Unfortunately no. Thats a safety issue that insurance won’t cover.

We strive to be the best that we can on every trip. If you ever have a boat tour with us, that is less than a 5 star experience, text or call us and we will make it right.
